Mommy's Daycare is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. We close three days each school year for non-instructional days (professional development days). These dates will be provided to families on January 1 for the upcoming year. We are additionally closed on the following days:
• Thanksgiving Day • Family Day
• Remembrance Day • Good Friday
• Christmas Eve @ 3pm • Easter Monday
• Christmas Day (December 25) through to January 2 • Victoria Day
• New Year's Day • Canada Day
• BC Day
• 1 week in the summer, exact dates to be provided by Jan 1, annually

Vacation Policy & Closures
If a holiday should fall on a weekend, we will close the following Monday in lieu of the holiday. We do not refund any child care fees due to closures that are listed under our “Hours of Operation”. Our annual fee takes these closures into account and is simply divided into 12 equal payments. No fees are refunded due to our scheduled statutory holiday and winter break closures.
Monthly tuition payments pay for a childcare space, regardless of attendance. As such, Mommy’s Daycare is unable to refund child care tuition due to child/family vacations, illness, or other non-attendance. No fees are refunded due to non-attendance.
In the event that Mommy's Daycare should close unexpectedly without any prior notice, Unexpected closures may occur because of circumstances such as:
1. Severe snow
2. Extended power outages that would lead to an unsafe facility
3. Educator/Caregiver illness that would not allow us to meet BC child care licensing regulation ratios
4. Any closure directed by the child care licensing officer, licensing or health authority, or the provincial health officer.
